The focus of the Treatment Project Committee is to assist the community in ensuring that comprehensive treatment services are available for adult and youth in the Williamsburg, James City and York County Communities. Treatment is a diverse group of professionals and community volunteers. Over the last five years, the membership has generated its efforts toward medical detoxification services for adults, housing for those adults in recovery, growing marijuana anonymous, educating medical providers about screening brief intervention, & referrals (SBIR), capacity treatment trainings, and enhancing and refining the treatment system. Each year members of the Treatment Project Committee select objectives that assist in accomplishing goals within the HTSAC strategic plan.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the HTSAC Treatment Project Committee, please complete a membership application and indicate where you would like to assist in addressing substance abuse issues. An email will be sent to you with upcoming Treatment Project Committee meetings.

Transportation Funds: The HTSAC Treatment Committee has transporation funds avilable to assist clients seeking treatment services. The following are a prerequiste for funds:

(1) Request must come from a Treatment Provider, this includes, Probation & Parole Officer, Social Worker or Case Manager

(2) No out of state travel is supported.

(3) NA/AA meetings are included.
